Description

Marketing API

Allows you to retrieve the ad metadata and ad insights.

Metadata includes information on your ad accounts, campaigns, adsets, ads, and creatives.

Ad Insights provides a wide range of indicators and metrics, broken down by various dimensions, to provide you with the raw data for extensive analysis of your Facebook ad performance.

The API has two levels of access: development and standard. You can get started with the development access level by creating a new app (or use an existing app, if you already have one) and obtaining an access token to start making API calls.

Once you have a successful integration with the Marketing API at the development access level, you can apply for standard access through your app's Marketing API Settings page.

Pages API

Covers two aspects.

One is page metadata, including pages per se, posts, phots, as well as likes, comments, and reactions.

Another covers Page Insights which helps understand how audiences are engaging with a Page. With Page Insights, you can:

  • View metrics about your Page's performance;

  • Learn which posts have the most engagement;

  • See data about when your audience is on Facebook.
