Backup and Recovery

You are looking at an older version of the documentation. The latest version is found here.

We recommend periodically backing up the configuration and the logs databases to have a working copy of them to prevent data loss in case of hardware malfunction. Should these databases be missing in such cases, all internal configurations will need to be recreated, and the log data will be lost forever.

On the subpage, we describe backing up the data and restoring it.

If you use an external relational database server to keep configuration/logs, please use native database tools to backup/restore this data.
