Data Virtuality Pipes and Pipes Pro
Welcome to Data Virtuality Pipes – a cloud data integration solution enabling you to quickly and easily integrate data from a wide range of databases and APIs to a connected data warehouse using connectors.
Pipes is available in two versions: the basic version automatically gets data from data sources in your data warehouse, and the professional version enables you to build custom data pipelines using SQL editor. This documentation applies to both versions; if a feature is only available for the professional version, you will see the blue "This is a Pipes Pro feature" note.
Although Pipes requires no coding or API maintenance (the connectors are fully maintained by us), you may need information on how it works and how to operate it. You will find all this information in this documentation, and if you cannot find what you are looking for or have any other questions, please get in touch with us using the chat button in your Pipes interface.
Introduction & Getting Started Pipes collects data from your sources and replicates it to your data warehouse. This section describes how it works and how to set it up. | Your interface consists of Dashboard, Sources, Pipes, Data Warehouse, and Preferences - here's an overview. |
Pipes supports a wide range of connectors and customized templates - more information here. | This section describes jobs and schedules: what types of jobs Pipes supports and what schedules you can set up for them. |
Here you will find information for working with the SQL editor: SQL dialect, jobs, schedules, and other stuff. | This chapter gives detailed information on system tables, system procedures, and system views. |
If you have a question, this is the place to look for an answer - it may be here already! | Here you will find links to our legal documents regulating the use of Pipes. |
